Religious leaders in Kosovo have called today on the political class to overcome the crisis through dialogue.
The Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Ternava said that violence is not a solution to the political problems that the country has.
“I would like to invite political leaders to find the courage, strength and knowledge to unite and solve this situation”, Ternava said.
The Archbishop of Kosovo, Don Dode Gjergji said that the country’s political leaders must realize that they can have different viewpoints on the situation, but they must also know that they have a state.
“Of course we call on everyone to reason and let their heart find the path of dialogue. We don’t think that we should threaten each other with the strength of the people or the strength of the power, but we should use the strength of dialogue”, he said.
Meanwhile, Driton Krasniqi of the Protestant Church said that the reason for this appearance of religious leaders is to convey a message of peace for all the people. /ibna/
