“Relations between Albania and Serbia have great potential and this is suggested by the significant number of Serbs who consider Albania to be a tourist destination”.
This was declared today by the Albanian Foreign minister, Ditmir Bushati during a conference held in Tirana dubbed “Serbs and Albanians”.
According to him, both countries share common points as far as minorities are concerned, mentioning the presence of a Serb minority in the district of Shkodra and “an Albanian minority in the Presevo Valley”.
Bushati went on by saying that relations between the two countries are advancing thanks to the implementation of mobility programs.
On his part, the chairman of the Albanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nikolin Jaka said that “businesses are very interested on seeing a real regional integration”. /ibna/
