The normalization of monetary policies by the main central banks in the world is not expected to have negative impacts on the economy and finances of Albania.
This fact was stressed by the governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, according to whom, the supervisory and regulatory framework of the Albanian financial system has improved significantly along with its ability to face any external blows.
However, he said that the Bank of Albania remains committed in monitoring monetary policy moves by other banks and assessing their impact in Albania.
Governor Sejko also expressed his opinions on the low level of inflation, expressing his conviction that that in spite of the blows and the challenges that they face, central banks have the necessary operational instruments to meet their inflation targets. /balkaneu.com/
