Deputy Economy Minister responsible for Industry Theodora Tzakri said that the Greek government will support the reopening of industries that have recently ceased to operate in the country, but that can still be put back to business under new management.
She said that most of those industries can re-open with a small effort and create new jobs for the Greeks and substantial profit for their new owners. The industries with considerable infrastructure and machinery can revive she said, and “the government will facilitate the investors for their new operation licences, offering them also “operational and almost ready for production industries”.
