The Albanian opposition party, Democratic National Renaissance (RDK) too has decided to give up on the only MP mandate won in the April 27 elections and it has declared that it will not recognize the elections.
This decision was approved by the Steering Committee of this party. The Committee declared that its leader, Rufi Osmani gives up on the MP mandate won in the April 27 elections.
“For RDK, the entire electoral process, the campaign and election day are unacceptable. This has been an unprecedented electoral massacre, accompanied by an extraordinary monopoly over the media, intimidation of the citizens and the falsification of the free vote. What happened is the finale of a dictatorial management of power by VMRO and BDI by violating democracy in all aspects”, said the leader of RDK, Rufi Osmani.
According to this party, the only way out of this would be the appointment of a technical government, which will hold a normal electoral process.
Meanwhile, the Macedonian opposition led by the Macedonian Social Democratic League (LSDM) has also decided to give up on its mandates and not to recognize the elections. /ibna/
