The Albanian government denies the involvement of the minister of Interior in drug trafficking affairs. But the opposition in Albania has published today photos and videos from drug plots where a senior official speaks from the location by suggesting that the drug is controlled by Saimir Tahiri.
The secretary for Civil Action in the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, brings a live denouncement from the drug plots in the place of birth of the Minister of Interior and says that these plots are being cultivated under the custody of the government.
“Cannabis plantations in the areas of Tepelena, mainly in Gusmar, which is the birth place of Saimir Tahiri and many police heads, show the reality of how cannabis is spreading in the country, a dramatic reality for Albania, that Edi Rama tries to deny”, says Salianji.
The opposition official came to these plots cultivated with cannabis and denounced “this criminal business that brings millions of euros worth of profits for the gangs of Edi Rama and for the man himself who receives 30% from the criminal scheme, a business which grows and impoverishes the villagers of the area who are exploited by being paid 7-15 euros a day”.
So far, the government and Interior Minister haven’t yet reacted on this denouncement from the drug plots. /balkaneu.com/
