Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama delivered a joint press conference today and talked about the situation of Albanians in the region.
Thanking Prime Minister Rama, Thaci confirmed the support of Rama for the dialogue with Serbia. “With Rama we also talked about the relations that Kosovo has with the countries of the region. He thanked the new Prime Minister for the support that Albania has given to the dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia”, said Thaci.
On his part, Rama said that Prime Minister Thaci had briefed him on the agreement reached in Brussels. “Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia has once and for all closed the bloody history between these two countries and peace will bring economic and social development”, said Rama.
He said that he also talked with Thaci about the possibility of a strategic joint governing. “We agreed upon a joint meeting for the best interest of the two countries. The first meeting of the two governments will be held in November”, said Rama. /ibna/
