A few days after the publication of list with candidates for parliament, the chairman of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama has thanked all those MPs who were not part of the electoral lists for the June 23 elections.
“I’d like to express my utmost gratitude for several protagonists of the Socialist Party who were not made part of the new national team of the Socialist Party, Et’hem Ruka, Gazmir Bizhga, Arben Isaraj, Eltar Deda, Qemal Minxhozi, Astrit Beci, Skender Hasa… Individuals with personality and contribution in the SP, who publicly or privately, said one thing: the Socialist Party remains their political family and the victory of the Socialist Party remains their objective. I’d like to thank them, because they have shown that not everyone is the same and that their political affiliation is not related to their seat. I thank them, because although they must endure what no other player can endure without any internal turbulence when one is not part of the campaign, they are not wasting this chance to show how important is to them our team”, said Rama on Twitter.
Amongst others, Rama continued with his thanks where he said that in spite of the complaints that there may be in such case, they have not threatened this decision making with their spontaneous words.
The head of the opposition also expressed his gratitude for the other protagonists of the parliamentary group in these years, who in a decent way accepted to play this “game” from the “bench” by remaining on those rankings of the lists where their victory is not sure. Amongst these people Rama underlines concrete names such as Ilir Bejtja, Agim Leka, Alfred Dalipi, Ndrec Deda… Rama concludes his post with the words, “THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!”. /ibna/
