The vetting process is said to have been at the focus of the meeting that the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama has held with the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn today in Brussels.
The news has been confirmed by Rama, according to whom, the European commissioner has also discussed about sustainable progress in addressing key priorities for the integration of Albania.
This meeting is held ahead of the European Commission Report which is expected to be issued on 17 April. In the meantime, Albania is expected to open accession talks with the European Union.
“A very positive meeting, where we discussed about the progress made in the implementation of the key priorities concerning integration and the progress in the vetting process, which this week enters an important phase of implementation, as public hearings will start with high level judges and prosecutors in front of the first instance commission”, Rama writes about this meeting. /balkaneu.com/
