The public debt in FYR Macedonia has risen significantly within a few months. According to the latest figures of the Ministry of Finance, public debt in FYROM at the end of December has reached 4 billion and 224 million euros or 47% of GDP.
Three months ago, in September 2015, public debt in FYROM was 3 billion and 941 million euros, or 43,9% of GDP. This means that within a period of four months, debt has risen by 284 million euros or by 3,1%.
Out of the total public debt, 2 billion and 845 million euros consist of foreign debt, while 1 billion and 379 million euros consist of domestic debt. /ibna/
