Protests have been scheduled to take place tonight in 15 cities of FYROM by the Civil Organization “I Protest”. Protests will be held in Skopje and the largest cities of the country and these protests are against the holding of elections on June 5, but also to convince the president of the country, George Ivanov to withdraw his decision for the pardoning of politicians.

Mariglen Demiri, one of the representatives of the protests says that these demonstrations will continue until their requests are met.

“Protests will not stop and will continue until all the conditions are met”, Demiri said.

According to him, civil society will be involved in the process of negotiations for the solution of the crisis and the formation of a new interim government.

On the other hand, protests have also been warned by the Movement for the Protection of Macedonia, which demands for the elections to be held on June 5, while blaming the opposition of leading the country to destabilization. /balkaneu.com/
