A trial has started in Skopje against two protesters who are participating in the protests of the civil society. Nikola Arizanovski and Philip Nakovski are accused of causing damages to institutions. The prosecution has demanded for the two persons to pay damages worth 15 thousand euros.
The judge of this case, Vesna Petrovska-Tagasovska said that the two defendants were not the only ones to cause these damages, but other protesters too.
Counselor Vladimir Danailov said that the prosecution is not acting right, because many revolted people are participating in these protests. “It’s not fair that only these two people are punished. I expect my clients to be given conditional sentences”, Danailov said. /balkaneu.com/
