Long queues have been formed on both sides of the Greek-Bulgarian borders, because of the blockade of the protesting Greek farmers on the Greek side but also because of the anti-blockade that Bulgarian drivers set up on the other side. According to Greek authorities there is a line of about 800-1000 trucks on each side.
Meanwhile, Bulgaria asked the European Union to help remove the blockade of the Greek-Bulgarian border by Greek farmers because the Bulgarian transport companies have suffered significant losses from the blockade of the borders.
