On Friday (28.03), government of Kosovo has decided to make Prizren a free economic zone. There has also been a proposal for Gjilan.

The decision was taken a few days after the commune of Djakovica and Mitrovica were also made economic free zones.

Proposing this decision, prime minister Hashim Thaci said that the city of Prizren is a city with an active, dynamic and efficient business, which has given a lot to economy not only in Prizren, but also in Kosovo and the region.

Another decision taken by the government on Friday is for the Airport of Djakovica to become a Central Public Enterprise.

Prime minister Thaci has once again invited MPs to vote the bill on the veterans of Kosovo Liberation Army.

Yesterday, the bill on KLA veterans was not voted by 2/3 of MPs in order to make it part of the agenda of proceedings, following the demand of LDK for members of the former Ministry of Defense to be included in this bill. /ibna/
