TV Telma, the privately owned national TV network in FYROM, has removed 12 experienced journalists, who have presented some of the most known shows and news bulletins.
Sources from this network say that these journalists left as a result of budget cuts and the inability to pay them.
The union has held a meeting with the network’s leading board to seek explanation on the decision and the possibility of moving these journalists to other sectors of the channel.
The Journalists’ Independent Union has condemned this decision, stressing that these journalists must not end up on the street.
The removed journalists are : Panta Dzambazovska, Emilija LAzarovska, Tomislav Osmnanli and other names. Opposition party SDSM reacted on these removals by saying that the network’s leading board must explain the reason behind this decision, especially when it comes to experiences journalists. /balkaneu.com/
