Private sector employs 77% of the work force, average pay 300 Euros a month

Popular Bank of Macedonia has published today data on the average pay in the private sector.

Based on these data, average pay in private companies is less than 300 Euros.

“Average pay in the private sector until the end of 2013 was only 81% of the average pay in the country, which is 21.500 denars”, reads the report of the Popular Bank on the financial stability of the country for 2013.

According to the data of the Bank, around 77% of the general number of employees in FYR Macedonia works in the private sector.

The number of employees in the private sector has increased by 5,9% last year.

Based on the analysis, 23% of employees work in the public sector. /ibna/
