President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga has received on Wednesday in a meeting a delegation of business women, farmers and activists for women rights.
President Jahjaga has congratulated women for their work and has assured them on her support for the development of small and medium sized businesses which are managed by women.
She said that the priority of the work is the economic strengthening of the woman and investment in women is investment in the family and the future of the country, reads the presidency’s press office.
“Business women, farmers and activists of women’s rights thanked president Jahjaga for the constant support that she has shown in respecting gender equality and the economic strengthening of the woman in Kosovo”.
Based on the press statement, the participants of this meeting briefed the president with the work and their engagement as well as the challenges that they face. /ibna/
