The second change made in the government by the Socialist Movement for Integration has been confirmed by the Presidency and Parliament. The President decreed them, while MPs voted them.
As of today, the new minister of Transport and Infrastructure is the former Albanian ambassador to Serbia, Sokol Dervishaj.
His appointment came after the decree for the resignation of the former minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Edmond Haxhinasto.
Prior to taking this post, Dervishaj has served as Parliament’s General Secretary. He has also served as deputy Foreign Minister and deputy Minister of Economy.
This is the second change that SMI makes in the government cabinet. Earlier, minister of Justice, Nasip Naco resigned, by saying that he was unhappy with the spirit of cooperation that existed. His post was taken by the current minister, Ylli Manjani. /balkaneu.com/
