Trilateral Commission consisting of the EU, USA and Japan, has invited the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, to participate in a forum taking place in Belgrade from October 31 to November 2, called “Western Balkan Countries, their EU integration path”.
The day when President Jahjaga must participate in this meeting is November 1.
The adviser and spokesman of the president, Arber Vllahia, has confirmed for the media this invitation, while he hasn’t yet confirmed as to whether this invitation has been accepted.
This meeting will see the participation of leaders from the region, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama being one of them.
The invitation has been sent by Jean-Claude Trichet, head of the European Trilateral Commission and Jovan Kovacic, head of the Serb commission from this organization.
If this visit takes place, it would be the first one of a senior official of the Republic of Kosovo in Belgrade after the war. /ibna/
