President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga has reiterated today (12.02) her positioning that Kosovo will never be a shelter for extremists.
“Like I said yesterday, I have welcomed Monday’s operation of law enforcement agencies to bring before justice terrorist suspects and all of those who are members of terrorist organizations and which in a way or another threaten the constitutional order of Kosovo and national security of our country”, said Jahjaga.
She added that Kosovo has never been and will never be a shelter of extremist activities.
” I have said in different ways that Islamic radicalism has been one of the main concerns of our country and yesterday’s action must be welcomed by all the citizens of Kosovo”, said Jahjaga.
The president made these comments during a visit in the commune of Gracanica along with the US ambassador, Tracy Jacobson in a meeting with the head of this commune, Branimir Stojanovic. Jacobson has not made any comments for the media. /ibna/
