President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga says that she’s determined not to run for another term in office.
In a recent publication, president Jahjaga says that her term in office ends on April 6 and that after this, she will serve to the state of Kosovo in other offices.
“I’m focused on ending my term in office as president. I still have things to conclude and do not forget that I’m playing an important role in overcoming the current crisis”, the president says.
“Everywhere I will be, I shall be dedicated in order to contribute for many issues, which I have initiated in my role as president”, she adds.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has made it clear that the majority will propose Hashim Thaci as the name for the new president of the country. Thaci is currently first deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
As far as this candidacy is concerned, Mrs. Jahjaga says: “This is an issue which belongs to 120 members of the Parliament of Kosovo. They have been called by the Constitution to elect the president of the Republic of Kosovo”. /ibna/
