The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga has suspended the amnesty bill following the letter received by the Constitutional Court asking her to be careful and not decree this bill until the Constitutional Court has deliberated it.
Jahjaga has notified parliament that this bill must wait the ruling of the Constitutional Court, before returning once again to the President with the modalities defined by the Court.
“The office of the President of Republic has notified Parliament of Kosovo about the communication that it has had with the Constitutional Court on the Amnesty Bill, which has been objected by a group of MPs”, said the spokesman of President Jahjaga, Arber Vllahiu.
The office of President Jahjaga has not issued other details about the communication that it has had with the parliament of Kosovo. /ibna/
