President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades is expected to be discharged from the Aretaeio private hospital in Nicosia today, after being admitted on Saturday with symptoms of gastroenteritis, said to CNA his attending doctor Dr Savvas Kadis.
According to Dr Kadis, the President will probably be able to travel to Brussels to take part in the European Council meeting, that is scheduled for Thursday. “If the President`s health continues to improve, I think he will probably be able to travel to Brussels,” Dr Kadis told CNA.
Anastadiades agenda for today has been cleared, including the meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu, which will be rescheduled.
