President Anastasiades departs for Estonia

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, will departs today for Estonia’s Tallinn, where he will attend the informal dinner this evening by European Council President Donald Tusk and Estonian Prime Minister Yuri Ratas, the country of whom has the presidency of the Council of the EU.

At dinner there will be review of the progress made in the future of the Union, from the Bratislava Declaration until now, in the context of the recent Juncker Roadmap “for a stronger and more democratic Europe”, which provides the taking of final decisions in 2019, after the Brexit.

Mr Anastasiades will be accompanied by Deputy Government Spokesman, Victor Papadopoulos and other officials and will return to Cyprus on 29 September./IBNA
