While the upcoming general elections in Albania are expected to take place in less than a year, the Democratic Party, the largest one in the opposition, is preparing its program.
“We assume our responsibilities as an opposition today and as an alternative for tomorrow to offer Albanians not only the facts and arguments, but also the way to pass into a new political model of a functional democracy and not remain part of a rotten mechanism, which is being exploited to enrich a handful of people with or without criminal records”, declared in Tirana the leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha.
Economy is an important program of the DP’s program. Mr. Basha strongly believe that the economic alternative of the right wing is the best for the development of the country. “There will be a 9% flat tax on profit, a 15% VAT and all expenses will go toward the taxpayers”, he said. /balkaneu.com/
