Premier Rama tells MPs to encourage foreign investments

Tirana, October 14, 2013

In a meeting with the socialist parliamentary group, Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that there must exist a constant bridge of communication between the MP’s office and the citizens.

Rama demanded to socialist lawmakers to establish contacts with the citizens through the MP’s office and to constantly inform the government about the concerns and criticism of people in every area of Albania.

“I expect you to become spokespeople of the community, but also promoters of the development of the community. You must become promoters of foreign investments, by bringing interested companies and enterprises from the neighboring countries or beyond. We will support every incentive and demand to invest in Albania for employment. We will start to schedule work visits abroad to communicate with the world of business about investment opportunities in different areas. I assure you that the interest is there. It’s up to us to contact with them, as the opening of the smallest enterprise would have an effect”, said Rama. /ibna/
