Prime Minister Edi Rama has received today in a meeting the foreign ministers of Lithuania and Romania, Linas Linkevicius and Titus Corlatean.
During this meeting, Rama assured the guests for a continuation of collaboration and readiness to open a new chapter in the relations between these countries.
The head of the government also gave assurances for the strong will of the government to move forward in the process of European integration.
The Prime Minister said that with the last free and honest elections and the smooth transition of power, Albania has met one of the main criteria to be granted the EU candidate status, for which we are hoping for a positive response in December.
Prime Minister Rama said that the vision and priority of Albania’s foreign policy is to have zero problems with the neighbors.
Ministers Linkevicius and Corlatean congratulated Premier Rama on the victory of the elections and on his election as prime minister. They stressed the importance that our region and partnership with Albania has as a regional factor for their countries. /ibna/
