The premier of the film “Lazarus” was shown last night in the Skopje Film Festival hosted in Skopje. This film describes the current refugee crisis, trafficking of refugees and the experiences of refugees in their endeavor to reach EU countries.
“This film reflects what happens in our country. It presents the reality of our country in the last decade. An awakening of love and humanism, living in a criminal world”, said film producer, Svetozar Ristovski.
In the main cast is the Croatian actor, Vedran Zivolic, who plays the role of the refugee trafficker. This film was funded by the FYROM’s Film Agency, with a budget of 1 million euros. The film’s locations are Skopje, Sofia and other cities. /balkaneu.com/
