“For revenge, the administration under the guillotine! Rama is spoiling consensus and mining the candidate status!”
These are the words of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha on Facebook, stressing that Edi Rama is spoiling the consensus of May 4 by postponing the invigoration of the law on civil service, which was one of the three criteria set by the EU in order for Albania to be granted the EU candidate status.
According to him, Rama’s doing this to put public administration under guillotine. Berisha says that millions of Euros have been spent by international partners for the training of this administration.
In his reaction, Berisha says that, “It’s this administration that through its qualities and dedication projected and implemented during these 8 years a universe of reforms which enabled the accession of Albania in the NATO, the signing of the Agreement of Association and Stabilization, the lifting of visas. These reforms guaranteed economic growth, growth of wages and pensions, construction of 10 thousand km of roads, 1300 schools, 700 water supply systems, 400 health centers and hospitals, etc. Rama, the man who for 8 years worked against integration now ruins consensus and mines the status. This is only the start!” /ibna/
