Full implementation of the agreement for the solution of the political crisis and the holding of free and democratic elections are prerequisites for the country to be supported by the European Union. This was stressed in the meeting between Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn in Brussels.
According to Poposki, Hahn was satisfied with the positive developments in FYROM and has promised that in case the priorities are addressed, then the European Commission will offer great support for the start of talks between FYROM and EU.
“We talked about all the obstacles that we overcame in the framework of the political dialogue and measures which have been taken. I believe that we will facilitate the European Commission’s job, which this year too recommends the start of negotiations”, said minister Poposki. /ibna/
