Leaders of the four main political parties in FYR Macedonia have still not been able to strike a deal for the solution of the political crisis.
Leaders of VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM, BDI and PDSH, Nikola Gruevski, Zoran Zaev, Ali Ahmeti and Menduh Thaci have not been able to reach a deal, although present in the meeting were the EU ambassador, Aivo Orav and the US ambassador, Jess Baily.
After the meeting, none of the participants issued a declaration, but political headquarters issued press statements with the same content. According to them, the participants agreed during this meeting to discuss in the coming days about the creation of an interim government which will organize the April 2016 elections. The sides agreed that once the accord is reached, the Macedonian opposition must return to parliament.
In the recent days, the failure of this meeting was warned and this was the reason why Euro Enlargement Commissioner Hahn had canceled his participation to the negotiations in Skopje. /ibna/
