Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman of the European Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn declared today that a meeting is expected to take place tomorrow in Brussels between the leaders of the four main political parties in FYROM, with the aim of solving the political parties.
“This Wednesday, on June 10, Commissioner Hahn will meet political leaders from FYROM here in Brussels to continue with the talks about the solution of the political crisis. We are getting ready for Wednesday’s meeting and we believe that the solution of the political crisis is very important. The EU is playing a very important role for its solution. We are expecting from political leaders to take part in this meeting. As far as the issues are concerned, commissioner Hahn made it clear last week that some of the issues that have been discussed last week have been agreed for, but some of the issues are expected to be discussed and we expect this to take place on Wednesday”, declared Kocijancic.
Leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, leader of the Macedonian opposition, Zoran Zaev, leader of BDI, Ali Ahmeti and leader of the Albanian opposition party, PDSH, Menduh Thaci are expected to meet tomorrow in Brussels.
One of the main topics of this meeting is the creation of an interim government, which will hold early parliamentary elections at the end of April 2016, a proposal made public after the June 2 meeting in Skopje by European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn. /ibna/
