The meeting of the four main political parties ended in Skopje, but without reaching an agreement.
The meeting has lasted about an hour, while a statement was released to say that leaders of VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM, BDI and PDSH confirm their commitment in implementing the agreement reached on June 2 with the mediation of international representatives until the next meeting scheduled to take place on June 29.
The meeting of the leaders of political parties, Nikola Gruevski, Zoran Zaev, Ali Ahmeti and Menduh Thaci comes a day after a group of experts of the European Union had drafted a report with strong criticism on FYROM in all domains, including the wiretapping affair and the warning that if FYROM doesn’t find an immediate solution to the crisis, then it may lose its recommendation for the start of talks for EU accession.
Today’s meeting was mediated by EU ambassador, Aivo Orav and the US ambassador, Jess Baily. /ibna/
