The political crisis is damaging the state of Kosovo in its relations with international organizations.
The UN Security Council session which would see the introduction of the quarterly report of the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon on the situation in Kosovo, will not be held on Thursday, according to the UN’s official web page.
The session was scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 13, but it was removed from the agenda.
The last report of Secretary General Ban Ki Moon was submitted on October 31, where he expressed his concern over the political gridlock in Pristina and called on leaders in Kosovo to intensify their efforts in order to find a solution and continue talks with Serbia.
Unofficial sources say that authorities in Pristina have demanded to the Security Council to postpone the session, because new institutions in Kosovo have not yet been formed. /ibna/
