After today’s failure of the constitutive session in parliament, president of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga has met today with representatives of political parties to hear their opinion about the solution of the political crisis.
Vice chairman of PDK, Hajredin Kuci said that this meeting discussed the finding of a possible solution by the president about the institutional blockade.
He added that this meeting marks the first phase of talks, where each of the parties offers its insight and this is followed by the phase where each party offers its compromise.
“What I want to say is that PDK will be constructive and will respect the will of the citizens and the decision of the Constitutional Court”, declared Kuci.
The leader of Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa said that the meeting with president Jahjaga discussed today’s session in parliament and the political strength of LDK-AAK-Incentive bloc.
He said that LDK and the bloc are the only ones that have the numbers to elect the speaker of parliament.
Asked if his party would participate in an all inclusive government, Mustafa said that it would not be involved in such project.
“We informed the president that we have the majority in parliament. This is a stable majority which offers solutions for the immediate constitution of parliament and election of its structures”, declared Mustafa.
Meanwhile after the meeting, Serb representatives have not issued any declarations for the media. /ibna/
