The new head of EULEX, Gabriele Mucci was received today in a meeting by acting prime minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, who has welcomed him in his new duty, by offering him cooperation.
Thaci has promised to the new head of the European Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo that engagement will continue for the strengthening of state institutions.
“Today, I had the chance to meet the new chief of the EU mission for the rule of law in Kosovo, EULEX, Mr. Gabriele Mucci. I welcomed him to Kosovo and I wished him success in the engagement of EULEX mission in the domain of justice”, declared Thaci.
He said that the institutions of the country will continue their cooperation with EULEX mission, in order to strengthen rule of law and order, fight against corruption and organized crime.
“We talked about the continuation of cooperation of EULEX mission with the institutions of the country. I also informed him about our commitment to strengthen democracy, rule of law and order, economic development, the finalization of the process of the liberalization of visas and fulfilling the standards needed for EU and NATO accession”, added Thaci. /ibna/
