The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi has informed the EU ambassadors in Kosovo today about the process of the implementation of the agreement reached on April 19 in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia, states the press release of the Prime Minister. According to the press release, Prime Minister Thaçi informed the ambassadors that Edita Tahiri will coordinate the process of the normalization of relations after the finalization of the deal.
“Prime Minister Thaçi has informed ambassadors that after the approval of the implementation plan, the Government has approved and then sent to parliament the law for the ratification of the agreement which aims to normalize relations with Serbia”, states the press release of the government.
Prime Minister Thaçi has assured EU ambassadors that the implementation of the agreement will not encounter obstacles or delays due to Kosovo, but said that he’s expecting Serbia to share the same commitment.
“I expect Serbia to share the same commitment, although the recent actions, such as that of the Ohrid conference clearly show that Serbia has not yet accepted to act in the spirit of the agreement. The groups are in Brussels and I believe that we will have positive results”, said Prime Minister Thaçi. /ibna/
