As of next week, parliament will start the procedures in order to fill the vacancies in the Oversight Committee of the Bank of Albania, which currently functions with five members, instead of nine.
This was said today by prime minister Edi Rama: “We will address to Albanians working in the international financial system for the vacancies at the Oversight Committee of the Bank of Albania. Procedure starts next week!”.
The Oversight Committee must function with nine members. Currently, with the arrest of former governor Fullani, who is also a member, with the resignation of Ardian Civici and with the absence of two other members for nine months, the Oversight Committee only functioned with five members. /ibna/
