Tirana, February 6, 2013/Balkan Independent News Agency

In his speech in parliament, Premier Edi Rama has criticized the behavior of the opposition, by saying that this behavior is against democracy. According to him, the opposition is only focused on accusing and libeling against the government, while the government is only focused on improving the situation in the country.

Premier Rama has once again expressed the determination of the government in the fight against crime, while saying that the opposition is inspired by it.

Addressing to the opposition, Rama said that it would be better for them to realize that it can no longer fool the people.

“There’s no Albanian who forgets the criminality that ruled the country until the day that you left power. There’s no Albania who doesn’t seen the daily improvement of the State Police. The vote of June 23 was a vote for public order and security of individual and his property. A vote which was given to us, because what happened in Albania was a fall toward insecurity and criminality”, said Rama.

According to Rama, official crime figures a year ago and this year are clear.

Moreover, Rama has criticized the opposition, by saying that when the country was governed by the right wing, it was on the verge of destruction.

Rama has praised the work of the State Police and that of the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri by saying that thanks to their work, people have gained faith and hope. Rama said that Berisha turned the government into a private enterprise which he used for his own interest and for the interests of several of his ministers. Rama also praised the work done by the directorate of Customs and that of Taxation. /ibna/
