PM Haradinaj demands the voting for Kosovo’s accession at INTERPOL to be postponed

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj has demanded for the voting for Kosovo’s accession at INTERPOL, which is scheduled to take place in the next meeting of the General Assembly in Beijing from 26 to 29 September 2017, to be postponed.

Although he has asked for the voting to be postponed, Haradinaj said that “Kosovo’s accession at INTERPOL would serve as a direct contribution in the fight against international crime and terrorism”.

“Kosovo is ready to take full responsibility as member of INTERPOL”, the PM said.

Haradinaj has thanked all of those who are involved in this process, hoping that Kosovo’s accession at INTERPOL will happen in the next meetings of this organization. /balkaneu.com/
