Next year’s budget doesn’t foresee any increases in salaries or their indexation based on the inflation rate. The Ministry of Finance has allocated 12 million USD more for the pension fund. According to forecasts, next year pensions will be indexed by 2% more than 2014.
Based on the expenses for next year, salaries not only will not see any increases, but they will not even be indexed with the inflation rate. Pensions will be the only ones to see a 2% increase.
A while ago, Minister of Social Welfare and Youth, Erion Veliaj declared that the government decided to increase pensions of all types by 2%. /ibna/
