Leader of the Democratic Party in Albania, Lulzim Basha has met with a group of experts today to discuss the new pension reform, which he considered as a pseudo reform of the government.
According to him, with this reform, half of the population remains excluded from the pension scheme.
“Arbitrary decisions are being taken to fulfill their agendas, which have nothing to do with the agenda of the people. Transparency is a big problem for this government. The opposition must draft a new and complete platform on pensions, based on solidarity and real opportunities”, said Basha.
He said that the increase of retirement age cannot be accepted. According to him, this reform doesn’t bring any benefits for young people.
The head of the opposition declared that the scheme offered by the DP makes people in need a priority. /ibna/
