North Macedonia’s president, Stevo Pendarovski has declared from Brussels that the European Union has a historical opportunity to show leadership and vision for the entire region.
“Our people are not asking something that they do not deserve. What they want is to be given the chance to build a European state with a fair, humane and progressive society”, said Pendarovski following a meeting held with president of EU Council, Donald Tusk.
Tusk admitted that some EU member countries are not ready to open negotiations with North Macedonia in June. According to him, Skopje has delivered all obligations that the EU has demanded. /ibna/
