The overall situation in the Republic of North Macedonia and the situation in the region were amongst the topics discussed today in a meeting taken place between president of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski and Foreign Minister, Nikola Dimitrov.
“President Pendarovski and minister Dimitrov agreed on the need for cooperation between the president and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a number of issues with the aim of delivering North Macedonia’s strategic goals”, the president’s cabinet said in a press release.
The meeting also discussed the functioning of the diplomatic system and the need to achieve foreign policy objectives. Pendarivski and Dimitrov also expect to receive positive signals from the EU regarding the date for the start of accession negotiations. /ibna/
