Speaker of Parliament, Trajko Veljanovski said today that he has received the resignation letter of PM Nikola Gruevski.
“As speaker of parliament, I will act based on the constitutional laws and regulation, but I will also follow the talks that will be held today between the four political parties with the brokerage of the European Union in order to deliver the political obligations of the June 2 agreement”, declared speaker of parliament Veljanovski.
Veljanovski said that he is hoping for political leaders to be able to overcome their disagreements and challenges in order to help the democratic development of the country.
Last night, PM Gruevski handed his resignation in compliance with the obligations stemming from the political agreement which was brokered by EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, who is in Skopje today to put an end to the disputes between the sides, in relation to the agreement and the holding of free and democratic elections. /ibna/
