Parliamentary session on demarcation postponed for Friday

Parliament of Kosovo has postponed the voting of the bill on the ratification of the demarcation between Kosovo and Montenegro for Friday, as the necessary number of 80 votes for the ratification of the agreement could not be secured.

After announcing the postponement of the parliamentary session, the speaker of Parliament, Kadri Veseli said that a decision needs to be taken in order to ratify the demarcation agreement, in order to allow citizens of Kosovo to move freely in EU member countries within this year.

Veseli also said that he has had a successful meeting with political parties, US ambassador Greg Delawie and the EU ambassador, Nataliya Apostolova. According to him, there’s optimism that the agrrement will be ratified until Wednesday. /balkaneu.com/
