In extraordinary circumstances and in an alternative hall, Kosovo’s parliament approved the 2016 budget with 78 votes in favor.
The 2016 budget will amount to 1,6 billion USD. The approval of this budget was done without opposition MPs, who were suspended, because they threw teargas in the plenary session.
Minister of Finance, Avdullah Hoti said that the program of the government of Kosovo for the period 2015-2018, aims at delivering capital projects in the domain of infrastructure and energy.
During the time of the approval, opposition supporters in Pristina have sprayed paint on the parliament’s windows. /ibna/
