Today, parliament in Albania will convene in an extraordinary session to discuss the appointment of an inquiry committee for the impeachment of president Ilir Meta, after his decision to cancel June 30 as election date.
Meanwhile, the opposition is expected to hold its first anti-government demonstration this evening following the local elections.
During the numerous meetings he held yesterday with party supporters, the leader of opposition and chairman of the largest opposition party, Lulzim Basha declared that the battle continues until PM Edi Rama leaves.
“We must join this protest to show that together, we can make Albania like the rest of Europe”, he told supporters. /ibna/
