Leader of the Albanian opposition, Lulzim Basha, received today in a meeting citizens and intellectuals from Vlora, to discuss the situation of economy, security and massive layoffs in Vlora.

He declared that this situation is alarming and that no new jobs have been opened in Vlora. According to him, thousands of men and women have been dismissed from the administration and thrown on the street, in order to give way to personal interests.

The head of the Democratic Party said that PM Rama promised new jobs, but employed and promoted people of the world of crime.

“This is the offer for the people of Vlora. People are within their right to ask a year later, where is the change for which they voted a year ago. The people of Vlora are clear about the answer”, said Basha.

As far as the political situation is concerned, Basha said that the voice of the opposition will be heard. According to him, parliament was boycotted to attract attention, as parliament is being ruled by a group of criminals.

He said that with the support of the international community, the country will be saved. /iba/
