Parliament of FYROM has reviewed last night the 2016 budget, in order to allocate 34,6 million euros for the compensation of areas in Skopje and Tetovo, which were hit by floods on August 6.
These funds will serve for the compensation of over 4 thousand families in 12 areas, whose homes were flooded and damaged. Prior to the budget’s revision, the government allocated 500 thousand euros worth of preliminary aid, for the residents of these areas. This budget revision will increase budget deficit from 3,6% to 4%, namely 376 million euros.
Meanwhile, the government has also approved the budget bill for 2017, which has been submitted to parliament for debates. /balkaneu.com/
